Summer Concert Recaps: Wiz Khalifa + Kota the Friend

I am concert obsessed. (please go to my IG highlight > Concerts to see all the amazingness from this year.)

Literally. I made it a goal for myself to attend at least 10 live music events this year. To be honest, I’ve almost lost count but I know I’m going to hit that limit. I’m honestly so sad my blog wasn’t active for the rest of the concerts I attended this year, but I plan on doing these moving forward so expect MANY more to come. I’m not completely sure how I want these to be, but as always I want to showcase my outfit, notable recaps, my favorite songs from each artist as well as my favorite live versions from their set. Concerts have become such a big part of my life this year and I’ve created so many memories that I just want to share them all.

I’m REALLY debating putting together a short vlog/music video of these to go along with my blog posts, so let me know what you think!

First up Wiz Khalifa:

Tour date 8/11/19

Ft. French Montana, Moneybagg Yo, Amine, DJ Drama, Jack Harlow (my man came out for two songs, but ya know.)

Now to the favorites.

  2. We Dem Boys
  3. See You Again ft. Charlie Puth

Favorite Live Performances:

  1. Black and Yellow
  2. See You Again
  3. Young, Wild, and Free

Kota — I wasn’t ready for!!! Peep my Thrasher outfit below.

Tour Date – 9/5/2019

Did you know I’m IN LOVE with Kota the Friend. Like…I know every single song. I’m THAT fan. Kota’s concert was probably the complete highlight of my life. I got meet and greet as well, so I had a chance to meet him prior to the show and got myself up in front of the stage (cause I wasn’t playing).

As soon as I can figure out how to upload the videos I will, BUT I GOT TO LIVE MY DREAM that night ya’ll! Kota selected five girls to go on stage to sing MY FAV song, Philly Jawn, and let’s just say I made it my own show. I got to literally rap with Kota in front of everyone, but luckily I didn’t cry.

Through that experience I learned, there’s nothing worse than not taking a chance or shooting your shot. What do you have to lose?

If I could go back to that moment in time a thousand times, I would.

I’m so excited to bring more concert recaps! Stay tuned for my Rolling Loud Bay Area 2019 one next.

What concerts have you been to this year? Let me know your favorites!
